Media BD began its journey in 2004, founded by M M Rahman with the vision of creating a professional platform to deliver quality advertising and media solutions in Bangladesh. At the time of inception, the company was named Media Bangladesh and launched its first website www.mediabangladesh.net , becoming one of the early media-focused platforms in the country. As the company grew, the brand evolved. To make the identity simpler, more modern, and aligned with international standards, Media Bangladesh was rebranded to Media BD — where BD symbolizes Bangladesh in a globally recognized short form.

Rebranded from Media Bangladesh to Media BD.

Extended services as an ISP and established a Cyber Café (closed in 2016).

Started an IT Training Institute for freelancers (closed in 2018).

Founded Ampar IT (www.ampar.com.bd) for IT services.

Added PR & Press Release Publishing with national media coverage.

Relocated office to Green Road, Dhaka.

Launched www.mediabdagency.com and extended press release distribution worldwide.
